during one of my weekly visits to tjmaxx (aka retail therapy sessions) I ran across a breath of fresh air... color, color, and more color! It was a much needed pick me up considering it was a miserable 5 degrees outside today...
I found a variety of glass pieces ranging from 5.99 to 14.99 and the cutest little lamps for only 29.99 each... lovvve bargain shopping! The colors are more than perfect for a law office i'm working on and I plan on picking them up for my client tomorrow!
(yes, i said tomorrow! i wasn't allowed to check out past closing time (i must have blocked out the loud speaker?) because i had too many items... the store manager pretty much kicked me out while reassuring me all my items would still be there in the morning when they opened at 9:30... i'm thinking they damn well better be!)

so just remember: you don't always have to shop at high end boutiques & furniture galleries... you can get the same look for less if you shop around! (wouldn't you rather spend the money you saved on shoes?! i think so!)
