introducing: katie ridder

Featured on the cover of both House Beautiful and Elle Decor, Katie Ridder is know for her balance between style and discretion... I however admire her sophisticated choice of colors! Below are a few examples of her work.

too cute for words!

hellooo white lacquer shine! LOVE LOVE LOVE this kitchen :)

perfect grouping for an entry...

Perfect example of how "dining rooms" should be done...
A server, table, and chairs that do not "match"..... THEY GO!
Why order a dining set from the same collection when you could have something like this?! :)

"grab life by the horns"

Align Center
yes, the title of my post would be the last thing to ever come out of my mouth.... ever!
BUT as you read along you will find it is quite fitting!
The picture above is one of the many reasons my posts have been sparse lately! My family currently owns a few dealerships and has recently purchased another franchise... Dodge! As if I haven't been busy enough with the plans for the remodel of our Mercedes-Benz dealership I now have the task of creating a waiting area out of nothing... literally! I wasn't able to get a true "before" picture but this will have to do! The real "before" picture would have been described something like the following: concrete floors, concrete block walls, an equally ugly and unfinished ceiling... BLAH BLAH BLAH... YUCK! The section currently under remodel had been an unused part of our body shop and with some money and manpower... we have drywall, a drop in ceiling, and one coat of PAINT! SIDE NOTE: Apparently no one working at our dealership has anything but white paint in their homes (I pray for you) so my "neon red" by Benjamin Moore caused quite the stir! Wait til they see the chairs ;)
Once the waiting area is completed I will make another post to reveal the outcome!
Wish me luck! :)
